Wicomico Nursing Home is proud to offer a complete range of services for people of Salisbury, MD and surrounding communities. In addition to nursing care, we provide rehabilitation and therapy services. Our residents are accepted by referral of the personal physician and are admitted without regard to race, color, religious belief, political affiliation, sex or physical handicap.

Our Services

Rehabilitation therapy is provided by a competent team of therapists including a physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech language pathologist. Our staff makes every effort to help our residents recover from injury or surgery and return to normal, daily activities. We offer both short term and long term rehabilitation.

Recreational Activities

A wide range of therapeutic recreational activities are provided to meet the individual needs of our residents, in a group setting or on a one-on-one basis. All of our activities are organized to be fun, enjoyable and at levels appropriate for the resident. From a relaxing spa room to beautician services offered, to arts and crafts to food socials, our residents get to do it all!

Meals & Special Diets

Meals are planned by the Registered Dietitian and prepared under the direction of a qualified Food Service Manager. Our food is influenced by local flavors and can be prepared to meet certain dietary restrictions.

Accommodations

Wicomico Nursing Home has a variety of room accommodations, all with cable TV hook up availability. Walkers, wheelchairs, and geri-recliner chairs are available for resident use. We do everything we can to ensure our residents feel at-home and comfortable in their rooms. Whether your loved one is with us for respite care, short-term rehabilitation, or long-term placement, we offer the support they need.
